Reasons why your document will not be notarized

The document or form requiring notarization must be completely filled out. We are not allowed to help clients with filling out documents per the state of GA. Our notaries are not licensed attorneys.

All signer(s) must provide government issued, non-expired photo ID

The signer must be willing to sign the document being notarized

All signer(s) must be physically present at the time of the appointment

The signer(s) must be of sound mind, alert, and mentally competent.

Signer presents an expired ID or no government-issued photo identification.

The document contains blank spaces or is otherwise incomplete at the time of signing.

The signer is not physically present before the notary.

The signer is unable to communicate directly with Notary or demonstrates a lack of understanding or willingness.

The signer cannot speak English and the document has not be translated into a language signer understands

The request involves Remote Online Notarization, which currently requires physical presence under Georgia statutes

Signer appears to be intoxicated, sedated, or disoriented

Notary believes signer is being coerced or does not understand consequences of signing the document

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use an expired ID?
Per Georgia notary law, signers must present a current, government-issued photo identification. Expired documents are generally not acceptable for notarization. Please ensure you have valid identification ready for your appointment.
Can you provide advice or explain legal terms?
I am a Notary Public and not a licensed attorney. I cannot provide legal advice, draft documents, or explain the legal effects of the documents you are signing. For such guidance, please consult with a legal professional.
Can I use Remote Online Notarization in GA?
Currently, Georgia law requires that the notary and the signer be in each other's physical presence for all notarizations. Remote online notarization is not standard practice under Georgia statutes at this time.
What are the fees?
Georgia statutory fees are $2.00 per notary signature. As a mobile service, additional travel and convenience fees apply based on distance and scheduling needs. Please contact us for a quote tailored to your specific request.
Do you provide same-day notary service?
Yes, we specialize in mobile convenience and frequently accommodate same-day appointments throughout our service areas. Availability varies, so please call or text early to confirm a time that works for you.
Can you provide witnesses?
Yes, professional witnesses can be provided for an additional fee if requested at the time of booking. Alternatively, you may provide your own disinterested witnesses as required by your document's instructions.
Does every signer have to be in person?
Yes. To comply with Georgia state law, every individual whose signature is being notarized must appear physically before the notary and present valid identification at the time of the appointment.
